The large, bright room featured stunning views and a modern, clean design. Staff were exceptionally welcoming, ensuring a pleasant experience. The Sunday roast was a delightful culinary highlight of my short stay, though parking was a challenge due to limited space.

Comfortable room, excellent shower, offering a bright and clean atmosphere, and the friendly staff run a charming pub with rich history—a perfect base for exploring the nearby moors or wandering into town, with just a 32 km distance from the nearest airport.

It was just a balanced option for resting at all in Bolton with extraordinarily good value for money. The lady in the breakfast hall tried her best to quickly set up the breakfast table despite the rush. Next time, check if breakfast is included before arriving.

Decent Stay with Room for Improvement

We stayed for one night in a deluxe double room. While the atmosphere was welcoming, the room had an odd musty smell. the staff were friendly, and the on-site restaurant offered a satisfying breakfast. Consider bringing your own toiletries for a more comfortable stay.

Absolutely loved the grilled veggies and the top-notch breakfast they whipped up! The beer was decent too, proper value for a pint. Plus, the staff were really nice and friendly, making the stay even better.

During our stay for a concert nearby, we found the room to be cozy and well-decorated, providing a lovely warm atmosphere. The thick curtains kept the light out nicely, and the comfortable bedding ensured a good night's sleep. I particularly enjoyed the delicious grilled veggies and hearty breakfast options served at the pub, which added to our overall pleasant experience.

The Deluxe Family Room was super comfy! Loved the thick carpets and the beds were so soft. Plus, the room was warm, which was great for February. The windows had heavy curtains, keeping the cold out. The view out the window with the hills was such a nice surprise! There's a decent amount of space with wardrobes and bedside tables too. Only thing is, it was on the top floor, so lots of stairs to climb. But overall, really enjoyed the stay!
